Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band established out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is constructed from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his formative years family member, Spencer Smiths (drums), which include their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their tune, the band made touch with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) through his LiveJournal web site. Impressed via the band, k-biz Wentz individually met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band released their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which could debut at #112 on the Billboard 200 album charts.
